Student-Athlete Compensation Story

The issue had gained traction for years, and in fall of 2019, several states started the process of passing legislation to allow student-athlete compensation. Today, student-athletes are allowed to agree to name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals while in college, a key turning point in the tensions between athletes and NCAA/university administrators.
