While serving as sports editor at The Badger Herald, I wrote a feature about the University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin rivalry. Dubbed the "Border Battle," the Gopher-Badger rivalry is one of the oldest in the nation and remains the longest continuous rivalry football game in the country.
