I wrote a story about how restaurants and local businesses in Fort Atkinson made it through the pandemic. The restaurants I interviewed used a variety of different strategies, ranging from adding takeout, acquiring government loans and furloughing employees. This story was really important to me because it helped me immerse myself further in the Fort Atkinson community as a got to meet some local leaders and eat some delicious meals at the restaurants I visited!
